We’re Hiring (4 Posts!) – Programme Manager – Interfaith & Belief, Volunteer Manager, Youth Peacebuilding Project Co–ordinator & Hospitality Support Worker

The Corrymeela Community now wishes to recruit for the following post:

Programme Manager – Interfaith & Belief

Fixed Term Contract (Until December 2027 dependent on funding with a possible extension of up to 6 months),

37.5hrs per week.

Salary: £34,693

Location: Corrymeela Office, Skainos Centre. Newtownards Rd, Belfast, with occasional travel to Corrymeela Ballycastle.

Overall Purpose: The Programme Manager: Interfaith & Belief is responsible for the management and delivery of the Interfaith & Belief Programme across Belfast in partnership with organisations / groups from diverse religious and cultural backgrounds. To focus on good relations, peace building, understanding difference, addressing sectarianism and racism, and embracing diversity.

Volunteer Programme Manager

Permanent–Full–time – 37.5hrs per week

Salary: £34,693

Location: The Corrymeela Residential Centre, Ballycastle, travel elsewhere may be required based on needs of Corrymeela.

Overall Purpose: The Volunteer Programme Manager’s overall purpose is to recruit, train, support and retain a dedicated team of volunteers, acting as a crucial link between the volunteers, staff and members.

This role involves ensuring volunteers are well–supported, engaged and able to contribute.

Youth Peacebuilding Project Coordinator

Full–time Fixed Term Contract (until September 2028) – 37.5hrs per week

Salary: £31,136 per annum

Location: Working mainly in our offices in Belfast (Skainos Centre 239 Newtownards Road Belfast) with occasional travel to Corrymeela, 5 Drumaroan Road, Ballycastle. Travel across Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland.

Overall Purpose: Shared Agenda for Peace is a regional youth work project operating in communities across Northern Ireland and the border counties of Ireland. Through this project, the post–holder will support local youth groups to develop partnerships and work together in non–formal shared education partnerships.

This project will bring young people together for purposeful contact programmes, build capacity with local youth work staff, and develop partnership working across the relevant organisations.

The Shared Agenda for Peace project will make up 80% of this post’s workplan. The remaining 20% of the workplan will support Corrymeela’s other youth and young adult programming.

Hospitality Support Worker

Full time – Permanent (37.5 hrs per week)

Salary: £26,505

Base: The Corrymeela Centre, Ballycastle

As a busy 24–hour residential centre, Corrymeela has a duty of care through good working practices to provide the hospitality team with a consistent staff member as point of contact specifically during weekends and busy transitions.  This person will support the team to deal with issues regarding security, maintenance, housekeeping, administrative tasks, and deal with any unexpected incidents such as ad hoc arrivals, fire alarms and first aid.  This role will include staying residentially overnight at the Ballycastle Centre.
